Shiwiar/Sapara Pastoral Training 2026 Update!
We are two-thirds through the training and the men are very excited and feel encouraged to continue the ministries they are called to. Many of the pastor’s wives were able to receive some training during the last course (June 25-28). Mateo’s wife Emma and Marcello’s wife, Maria Jose were able to speak with the women and begin painting the importance of their role as women and pastor’s wives.
Thanks to all of you who contributed, we are fully funded for the remainder of this training and we are scheduled to gather again in November for the third part of this training. Please join us in praying about what comes next. There has been interest voiced about focused and culturally contextualized teaching on marriage and family. Maybe that comes next year?
